Swimming Lessons

Llety Cynin hosts swimming lessons & baby swim classes at selected times. If you'd like to find out more about when these are hosted, please call 01994 232773/213516 to make your booking.

Cancellation Policy

Llety Cynin operates a 48 hour cancellation policy. Cancellations within 48 hours will have the fee forfeited.

Pool Facilities Availability

While we aim to ensure all leisure facilities, including the pool, are available for use, access is subject to operational availability. Pool facilities may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, health and safety requirements, or unforeseen circumstances. As such, we cannot guarantee that the pool will be operational at all times, and no compensation or extensions will be offered for periods of unavailability.

General 

- The Club cannot be held responsible for the personal belongs of Members or Visitors.

- You are respectfully requested to allow sufficient time to shower and change to be able to leave the Club premises punctually at the time of closing.

- No photography or movie shots are allowed in the club using a camera or any other device, unless specific permission is given by the Manager.

- You must not consume any food or drink on the premises that you have brought in from outside.

- We reserve the right to show potential Members and other individuals the facilities of the club.

Behaviour and Dress - Please conduct yourself in an appropriate manner when in or about the Club so that you do not disturb or impair the use and enjoyment of the Club for others.

- Any threatening behaviour or the use of foul, loud or abusive language towards other members of the Club, guests or staff will be treated seriously, resulting in you having to leave the premises.

- Smoking or Vaping is prohibited in all areas of the Club.

- The use of Club facilities while under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other substance which may affect your ability to exercise safely is strictly prohibited.

- Suitable clothing must be worn at all times; swimwear is not to be worn in public areas or in the gym.

Gym and Weights - Appropriate clean exercise clothing and training shoes must be worn whilst exercising.

- You should seek instruction before using unfamiliar equipment.

- Make sure that you use the equipment appropriately.

- Equipment must not be used for longer than 20 minutes during busy periods.

- You must wipe down equipment after use. - You must not wear swimwear under gym clothing.

Swimming Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Spa

- Swimmers ONLY on poolside – no spectators allowed.

- For reasons of health, safety and hygiene you must:-

a) Obey the instructions of the Pool staff;

b) Always shower before entering the Sauna, Steam Room, Spa or Pool;

c) Not consume food or drink in the changing room or pool area;

d) Not take any products, papers or other flammable materials into the sauna as these constitute a fire hazard.

 You must

a) Not run around, jump or dive into the swimming pool;

b) Comply with any swimming directions posted in the pool area;

c) Wear conventional swimming costumes;

d) You are requested to tie up long hair and wear a swimming cap.

e)  The swimming pool area is reserved for adults only from 6pm. Children of secondary school age may be permitted to use the facilities on request after this time when supervised by an adult.

f) Heads should never be submerged in the spa pool.

g) Facilities should be used in moderation and under medical advice.

h) Swimwear must be worn in the Sauna.

Health and Safety

- You must use the main entrance when entering or leaving the Club.

- Fire exits are clearly marked and must not be tampered with.

- You must read the health and safety notices posted outside any equipment and comply with their recommendations.

- You must comply with reasonable requests made by the staff in the interests of health and safety.

- Please notify a member of staff of any faulty or damaged equipment.

Children

- May not use the Gym and Weights room.

- Children under the age of 16 can be included in the parents’ membership.

- Child members may only be brought to the Club by their parent or another person nominated by the parent, who will be responsible for them.

- Young babies and toddlers must use Swim Nappies unless the parent is confident that they are toilet trained. Contamination of the pool will result in the Club closing the facilities.

- Children under the age of 7 may change in either changing room under supervision. Children age 7 to 12 must change under supervision in the changing room of their own sex or use the Family changing room.

Swimming pool rules -

- Children may use the pool between 4.00 pm and 6.00 pm;

- Non swimmers must wear flotation aids i.e. Baby seat, Armbands, Buoyancy Jacket; and be kept within arms reach

- One adult may supervise one child; and must remain in the water at ALL times.

- Only persons over 14 may use the Sauna, Steam Room and Spa; a responsible adult must remain on the premises

- A responsible person is defined as 18 years of age & over.

NO Spectators Allowed on Poolside.  Guests of Llety Cynin are able to use the Club facilities during normal opening times; Child guests may  access the swimming pool from 2 pm to 6 pm daily

Liability A member or visitor making use of the facilities are responsible for ensuring that he or she is properly equipped and that his or her health and physical condition are such as not to involve any risk to him or herself or any other person making use of the facilities. It is hereby understood and agreed that Llety Cynin accepts no responsibility for accident, injury, illness or misadventure caused or suffered by members or guests on the premises howsoever caused. Only to the extent caused by wilful default or negligence of Llety Cynin, its servants or agents. Members are responsible for their own insurance in respect of injuries suffered, loss or damage to equipment. As a Company we will always comply with relevant UK law.
